#7 Home sweet Home

BSN - BI Student Living

Hei Hei!
I know I have missed not one, but two of my "Sunday Posts" and I sincerely apologize!
There has been a lot going on this past week and to add to that, my computer and phone didn't feel like air dropping any of the photos I took, which is why I couldn't upload any to this blog, too.

Anyway, now I am back with a topic near and dear to my heart. Having lived at home up until January, it has been a big change to switch to a shared two-bedroom apartment in a big student living facility. My Roomate, Natalie, is very friendly and sweet, maybe a bit shy, but she gets more talkative by the day! She does a lot of cooking and baking which is why our shared kitchen smells very good a lot of the time! We also share a bathroom which has, to my surprise, not been a problem at all! Our school schedules and therefore, "shower and get ready"-schedules are very different from each other, so we never get jammed in the bathroom!

The room itself is quite big for a student room. It came with a single bed, a corner desk with a cushioned chair, a big wardrobe with a mirror and an additional bookshelf and nightstand.
In the very beginning, there was so much storage space, I thought I would never fill up. To my surprise, the drawers and shelves have filled up quite a lot over the past weeks with food, snacks, books and various miscellaneous things. I found 10m long fairy lights on the streets that someone had obviously grown tired of detangling. I brought them home, detangled them and now they work perfectly, lightening up my room at night.
With the additional lights, some photos and the beginning of my typical "Paula chaos" the room now feels very familiar and homey.
Only the bed is too hard!
